Middle School at 21K School spans Grades 6 to 8 (ages 11–13) and represents a critical transition between primary and secondary education. This stage supports learners in developing independence, deeper conceptual understanding, and a strong sense of identity.

Middle School learners are in a key phase of growth, where they develop essential skills that empower them to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. During these years, learners build:

• Strong social and collaboration skills through teamwork and shared learning experiences
• Organisational and time-management abilities
• Responsibility, independence, and self-sufficiency
• Creative and critical thinking skills

The Middle School programme at 21K School is aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and follows a competency-based approach to learning. Teaching and learning are designed using the 5E instructional model—Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate—and are grounded in learning science principles such as inquiry, active engagement, experiential learning, reflection, and timely feedback.

Learning is further enriched through interdisciplinary projects that connect concepts across subjects and passion projects that allow learners to explore personal interests, develop agency, and apply learning in meaningful, real-world contexts.

Language Choices

• Learners may choose their second and third languages from the list below.
• Learners can also opt for Third Language at an additional fee.
• Third language classes are scheduled outside the regular school hours

Special Education Needs (SEN)

We provide limited academic support to learners with special educational needs through our qualified, trained, and experienced team of child psychologists, special educators, and counsellors. We encourage parents to speak with our Admissions Advisor in complete confidence to understand how we can best support their child.
