📘 NEP 2020 — What Changed?

Under the National Education Policy 2020, the early childhood framework was restructured into a 5+3+3+4 model. The "Foundational Stage" (ages 3–8) now covers Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Classes 1–2. This means LKG continues to require a minimum age of 3 years, consistent with CBSE norms. Schools are encouraged to align admissions with this developmental framework.
