Withdrawal Policy

1. Discontinuation within the First Month: The security deposit is fully refundable if the parent decides not to continue with the school after the first month of admission. To initiate the refund process, a written request via email must be sent to info@21kschool.com at least five days before the first month is completed. The reason for withdrawal must be clearly detailed in the email. This policy applies exclusively to new admissions. Failure to raise the withdrawal request within the specified timeframe will render the parent liable for their next Instalment. This does not apply to mid-term admissions.
   A virtual interaction (VI) with the Principal or Academic Coordinator is mandatory before the security deposit refund is processed.
   The refund will only be initiated once the VI has been completed and the official withdrawal request email is received.
2. Withdrawal in the middle of the academic year: In exceptional cases, Parents may withdraw their child in the middle of the academic year by giving 30 days’ notice to the school by writing an email to info@21kschool.com before 31st December 2025. In case of any request for withdrawals after 31st December, the child will be deemed to have studied the entire academic year.

4. Withdrawal at the end of the academic year: Parents wishing to withdraw admission at the end of the academic year must email us at info@21kschool.com by 15 January 2026. This ensures no rollover invoice towards textbooks is raised.
5. The learner will continue to be a registered learner of the School unless the parent has explicitly withdrawn the child’s admission from the School.
6. All fees, charges, and dues will be considered up to the date of withdrawal. The date of withdrawal will be 30 days after the receipt of the email before 31st December or the end of the academic year, as applicable.
7. In the case of siblings, if one child withdraws and the other continues, the fee paid towards the first child shall not be adjusted against the second child’s fees. The sibling discount shall be disabled & parent is liable to pay full fees.
8. Issuance of Transfer Certificate (TC): Transfer Certificate (TC) is issued on request to learners who have completed the current academic year (completed both terms of the academic year and appeared for both term-end assessments) with 21K School & cleared all the outstanding fees.
9. TCs will only be issued after the final results of the academic year are announced.
10. Only digital copies of the Transfer Certificate till Grade 7 will be issued, which are valid and accepted worldwide. Hard copies of the TC can be requested for an additional fee.
11. Learners enrolling after Term 1 assessments will not be eligible for getting the TC.
12. Except in the case of homeschooling or learners in Pre-Primary / Early Years, a Transfer Certificate will not be given to a learner who has not submitted a Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
13. The school reserves the right to withhold any documents of the concerned learner, including Academic report / Transcript / Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate till such time the dues are cleared along with applicable late payment charges.
14. British Senior - If a learner registers at our associate center in India, they will be considered a regular learner. The Marksheet and Migration Certificates will be issued by the examination center only upon successful completion of Grades 10 and 12.
15. Alternatively, if the learner registers as a private candidate at their selected Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel School, the Marksheet and Migration Certificates will be issued by the respective school through which the learner appears for their exams.
