My teaching journey has been shaped by a strong belief in creating learning experiences that are purposeful, engaging, and centred around the individual needs of every child. Working in a British school environment has strengthened my commitment to developing confident, independent learners who are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and approach learning with curiosity. I aim to create a positive and inclusive classroom where children feel valued, supported, and confident to express their ideas. My teaching approach combines creativity, thoughtful planning, inquiry, and real-world connections to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I believe that education extends beyond academic achievement; it is about nurturing character, confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. As an educator, I continuously reflect, learn, and grow so that I can provide the best possible learning experiences for my students.

One of the moments I value most as a teacher is when a child who was hesitant to speak suddenly raises their hand and says, “I have an idea!” It may seem like a small moment, but to me, it captures why I teach. I love watching children move from uncertainty to curiosity, and from curiosity to confidence. Over the years, I have realised that teaching is not about having every answer ready—it is about creating the right opportunities for children to discover answers for themselves. My experiences in the classroom have taught me to listen closely, notice each child’s strengths, and give them the space to question, explore, make mistakes, and try again. What keeps me passionate about teaching is knowing that a meaningful classroom experience can stay with a child long after the lesson is over. I teach because I want to be part of those moments—the moments when a child discovers not only something new about the world, but something new about themselves.
