Namrata Roy

I’m Namrata Roy, an educator and computing facilitator with 11 years of experience teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Computing across ICSE, CBSE, and IB curricula. I believe in creating learning experiences that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving, while helping students see technology as a tool to create and innovate. I see myself as a facilitator and lifelong learner, learning alongside my students as we explore, question, and discover together.

Over 11 years of teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Computing, I have come to see myself not just as a teacher, but as an educator and facilitator. In computing especially, I love watching students move from “I don’t know how to do this” to “Let me try.” That shift—from hesitation to curiosity, and from curiosity to creation—is what makes teaching meaningful to me.

I teach because I enjoy learning too. My classroom is a space where I guide, question, encourage, and learn alongside my students, helping them become confident thinkers, problem-solvers, and creators rather than simply learners who know the right answers.
