About Meghna

A passionate Computing Facilitator who loves sharing knowledge and making coding fun, creative, and engaging. Inspiring learners to explore, create, and become confident young coders.

I am a passionate Computing Facilitator with a strong foundation in Computer Science and a commitment to making coding, AI, and technology engaging for learners. I hold a Master’s in Computer Science Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, a Bachelor’s from RGTU, Bhopal, and the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Primary). With 10 years of experience in British primary education, I have worked as a Home Room Tutor, Science Facilitator, and currently as a Computing Facilitator for Grades 4–6.

I ranked among the top 10% globally in the International Teachers Olympiad (Suraasa) and top 50 in the International Digital Teachers Olympiad (upEducators). I am also a Google Certified Educator Level 2 and Certified AI Educator through Wayground.

I have participated in professional workshops including Four Ideas to Integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the Language Classroom and Super Searchers.

I specialise in curriculum-aligned coding activities, AI-driven assessments, and technology integration. Through Tech Tinker Lab Coding sessions, I guide inquisitive learners in exploring platforms such as Code.org, Thunkable, CodeCombat, Kodable, Blockly, Crunchzilla, and Scratch, encouraging them to create, experiment, solve problems, and become confident young coders.

Beyond teaching, I enjoy mentoring peers, supporting technology integration, coordinating events, and exploring emerging AI tools to design interactive learning experiences. I believe technology is a powerful catalyst for curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

I teach because I believe technology should spark curiosity, not just provide answers. Seeing learners turn a simple idea into a working program, experiment with AI, or solve a problem through coding reminds me why I love teaching. My journey from Computer Science to education has taught me that every learner can be a creator when given the right guidance and opportunities. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge and upskilling fellow educators, helping them confidently integrate technology and AI into their teaching. I strive to make technology learning joyful, meaningful, and accessible while inspiring both learners and educators to explore, create, and grow in the digital world.
