5 Top Career Pathways for Students After PCM Class 12

The top 5 career pathways for students after PCM Class 12 are discussed below.

1. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Students can take admission in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering and choose data science and artificial intelligence courses. In this field, students can learn advanced maths and statistics, and analyse complex data by mastering Python and SQL to build practical learning models.

Pursuing a career in this domain can advance their future as a data scientist, data analyst, and machine learning engineer.

2. Commercial Aviation

After Class 12 PCM, students interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry need to undergo training in an authorised flight school to earn a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). This is an intensive course in physical and technical training in order to pilot commercial flights. Students can enter roles such as first officer, airline pilot, and flight instructor.

3. Engineering and Technology

JEE is essential for admissions in the top Engineering colleges. Students with a PCM background can choose Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering degrees and specialise in Computer Science, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.

Students can learn designing, developing software skills, and maintaining machines. These courses offer promising career opportunities in software engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering.

4. Architecture and Planning

Class 12 students with a PCM background can take an entrance exam under NATA to pursue a field in architecture. It is a course of 5 years.
