About Tanya

At the heart of Tanya’s teaching philosophy is a simple belief: language is best learnt when learners feel free to explore, express, and make mistakes without hesitation. For her, it is about helping learners find their voice. She strives to nurture confident communicators, curious thinkers, and independent learners who are unafraid to express themselves and engage with the world around them.

Tanya is a passionate ESOL educator with six years of experience working with learners across diverse age groups. With a B.A. (Honours) in English and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Delhi, complemented by a Cambridge CELTA certification from the British Council and an IELTS certification from IDP Australia, she brings together a love for language, literature, and meaningful learning.
At the heart of Tanya’s teaching philosophy is a simple belief: language is best learnt when learners feel free to explore, express, and make mistakes without hesitation. Her classroom is a lively space where conversations take centre stage, ideas are welcomed, and learning moves beyond textbooks. Through immersive activities, multimedia, games, storytelling, and real-world communication, she transforms language learning into an experience that is engaging, relevant, and memorable.
For Tanya, teaching English is about more than mastering grammar and vocabulary—it is about helping learners find their voice. She strives to nurture confident communicators, curious thinkers, and independent learners who are unafraid to express themselves and engage with the world around them.
Beyond the world of words and classrooms, Tanya is an avid cinephile with a fascination for human psychology and behaviour—always curious about the stories people tell, the choices they make, and the many ways in which we understand one another.

I teach because I believe finding your voice can change the way you see yourself and the world around you.

Over the years, I’ve watched learners who were once hesitant to speak gradually become confident enough to share an idea, tell a story, or simply make a mistake without fear. Those small moments of courage are what make teaching meaningful to me.

For me, English is not just a subject to be taught—it is a bridge to connection, curiosity, and self-expression. I want my learners to leave my sessions not only knowing more, but feeling more confident about who they are and what they have to say.
