Shazia Khan

I’m Shazia Khan, with 16 years of comprehensive teaching experience across multiple international educational frameworks, I bring a unique perspective to social studies education. My extensive teaching background spans multiple curricula, including British and American Boards, Cambridge examinations (IGCSE, A and AS Levels), and International Baccalaureate programs for both Diploma and Middle Years Programme levels. My subject expertise encompasses a wide range of social studies disciplines, including World Geography, Global Politics, World History, US History, Environmental Sciences, and Sociology. Throughout my career, I have developed a teaching philosophy centered on the Approaches to Learning (ATL), which prioritizes critical thinking, effective communication, collaborative skills, and self-management techniques. Currently, I teach Grade 8 Social Science at 21KSchool, where I leverage virtual platforms to create global learning connections and engage students in meaningful educational experiences. My primary goal is to consistently inspire students, cultivate critical thinking skills, and prepare learners to navigate an increasingly complex and evolving world.
