The following is the fee structure for Grades 9 and 11 for admission to 21K School under NIOS as a Private Candidate for the Academic year 2024-25. The program start date for the year 2024-25 will be 12th April 2024. This fee is not applicable to the existing students of 21K School - please contact the School for specific details.

  2. If students register for fewer than five subjects, students must identify NIOS study centres for board examination.
  3. This programme is usually open only to students in India. Students from UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat, Nepal, Qatar and Saudi Arabia should verify the availability of NIOS Exam centres nearby on their own.
  4. Attendance of classes and activities is mandatory. Students may not be allowed to appear for 21K School examinations where attendance is less than 75% each Term.

  • 21K School offers the Senior School Programme under Indian Curriculum through NIOS as a Private Candidate. NIOS, or National Institute of Open Schooling, is a National Board established by the Government of India. NIOS is an "Open School" to cater to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners up to the pre-degree level. It was started as a project with in-built flexibilities by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 1979. In 1986, the National Policy on Education suggested strengthening of Open School System for extending open learning facilities in a phased manner at the secondary level all over the country as an independent system with its curriculum and examination leading to certification.
  • For certificates issued by NIOS are accepted for further higher education, Govt. jobs and all other purposes. The certificates issued by NIOS are accepted by all National/State Boards and Universities. However, in some instances, various Boards/Universities have fixed eligibility criteria based on their specific requirements. Hence, the learners seeking admission to NIOS must go through the latest eligibility criteria of the concerned/desired Boards/Universities.
  • Classes will be conducted five days a week from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm India Time. Students must attend the classes live online at appropriate times per the weekly learning schedule. The indicative timetable is available here. A full-time student studying five subjects will not have more than 4 to 5 hours of classes per day. Similarly, a student enrolled on only one subject may have only 1 hour of live classes per day.
  • Board Examinations are conducted only at Grade 10 and Grade 12 levels. However, 21K School would enrol students starting from Grade 9 and Grade 11 to prepare for the Board exams. In some instances, students can be enrolled for Grades 10 and 12 based on their prior academic experience and learning outcomes.
  • Students who complete admissions before 01 September in Grade 10 / 12 can appear for Board Examinations in April / May next year (Block 1). Admissions completed after 01 September and before 01 March in Grade 10 / 12 can appear for Board Examinations in Oct / Nov of the following year (Block 2).
  • NIOS conducts Board Examinations, and 21K School has no discretion or control over these matters. The decision of the NIOS will be final with regard to examinations, entry requirements, registration process, key dates, applicable fees, subjects offered and other points.
  • NIOS also conduct ON Demand Examination for certain subjects, and students may refer to the NIOS website for the latest information and clarifications. As a School, we do not prepare students for on-demand examinations or crash courses.

  • Only Students who are a minimum of 14 years and a maximum of 18 years as on 01 June 2024, preferably residing in India, can enrol.
  • A Student who has passed class VIII and has valid proof that she has attained 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
  • The Student who gives a self-certificate stating that "I have studied and can pursue the secondary course" is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course.
  • Admissions are subject to approval by the Principal based on individual competencies.
  • Students are expected to have completed the immediate previous grade within two years of enrolment. For example, to enrol on Grade 9, the student must have completed Grade 8 from a recognised board in the last two years.
  • The Student must be fluent in English.
  • The Student must be motivated and eager to complete the Secondary and Senior Secondary programmes.
  • The Student must be willing to appear for a written exam in pen and paper mode at the nearest NIOS examination centre/study centre.
  • Students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria of NIOS for registering for their Board Exams.

Step 1: Submit the 21K School enrolment form and pay the enrolment fees.

Step 4: Appear for a live video interaction (Viva) with the School Principal.

Step 5: If the the School Principal approves the application, students will receive a Letter of Admission Approval.

Step 6: Students must accept the terms of the admission letter and pay fees to complete the admission formalities.

  • 21K School will provide digital learning access through the Learning Management System. 21K School will provide no Printed material.
  • Students registered for NIOS examinations will get Printed Text Books from NIOS Directly as per their schedule. (21K School doesn't have any role in that)
  • Soft Copies of the Books are also available on the NIOS website for reference.

Student of Grade (9-12) has to pay additional charges at actuals for:

  • Science kit and practical labs charges.
  • NIOS Examination and registration fee.
  • NIOS Centre fee to appear for exams at actuals as applicable.
  • Any other related expenses or charges as applicable from time to time.

  • All figures are in Indian National Rupee (₹).
  • Enrolment Fees is ₹ 350/- and non-refundable. This is paid only once at the time of enrolment.
  • No additional admission fees or donation is charged.
  • After enrolment, the admission is processed by paying the fee in Instalments or full-year fee.
  • At the time of Admission, parents are expected to pay the sum of Initial School Fee + Security Deposit.
  • The Security Deposit is refundable without any interest on withdrawal after adjusting any dues.
  • School Fee is payable as per the due dates mentioned above, irrespective of the number of calendar months in each term. This fee is applicable for all grades unless otherwise specified.
  • An additional school fee of ₹ 1000/- per month will be applicable for children with Special Education Needs (SEN), where a Special Educator is assigned to the child.
  • Fee includes Assessment Charges of 21K School. Any Board Examinations, Centre Charges and additional fees introduced by the respective Boards will be additional and excluded from above.
  • The School is not obliged to send fee reminders. If it is done, it is only in the student's interest and cannot be demanded. Non-receipt of communication from the school will not be treated as a valid reason for non-payment of fees within the stipulated date/time. The school’s decision will be final and binding with respect to all matters concerning school fees.
  • Fees must be paid online through the Mobile App/Invoice/ link provided. We do not accept any liability for payments made on other links, websites or persons.
  • Late payment charges of ₹ 100/- per day will be levied if the fee is not paid within the due date.
  • Transfer/Migration Certificates will be issued by NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) only upon completion of 10th and 12th grades. 21K School does not provide any additional documents at any grade level from 9th to 12th.
  • Request for a Bonafide Certificate, additional documents, hard-copies of revised fee receipts will attract payment of ₹ 800/- per instance. International Courier charges will be additional, as mentioned under Learning Kit section.

  • The fee structure of 21K School is governed by its rules, policies, terms and conditions and as amended from time to time by the Management at its sole discretion.
  • On payment of fees and enrolling with 21K School, you agree to abide by the above and will be considered as a consent of the above.
  • NIOS Registration is self-based and should be done by parents themselves. The school will provide the necessary guidance only.
  • Students need to ensure that their NIOS Enrolment Number is generated and should verify that the Study Centre they have selected is operational. (21K School has no role in it.)
  • Registration, Learning Materials and Examination Fees will be charged extra by NIOS or its study/exams centres, which must be paid by Parents separately. 21K School fees exclude all such costs/expenses, including any incidental cost incurred by parents for appearing in such exams.
  • NIOS conducts exams in India. They have a few centres in other countries. Parents must ensure that the study centres are operational in their respective locations. International Parents must select Study Centre in India for examinations if no centres are available in their area.
  • Registration and Examination of students under NIOS depend on NIOS's rules and regulations, which are subject to change without prior notice. Such changes are beyond the control of 21K School, and we take no responsibility for the loss of learning or additional cost due to such changes.

  • Family concession (where two or more students of the same parents are studying at 21K School) would be provided only for the younger sibling. The rebate permissible is 10% on School Fee. This rebate cannot be combined with any other scholarship or rebate, or waiver of fees.
  • Any Rebates and Scholarships are applicable only on the annual School Fees. No rebate or waiver is applicable on the learning kit, coding kit, board examination fee, centre charges, or any similar additional cost, as mentioned separately.
  • Students passing out from 21K School in Grade 10 or 12 will get free membership to the 21K School Alumni Crew.
  • Parents, who have paid the security deposit, shall get a rebate of Rs. 4,500 at the time of roll-over for next two academic years.
