About Leena

A passionate professional in the field of commerce. Given so many toppers in CBSE.

Professional Profile

With an enriching journey spanning 14 years in the field of Commerce education, i am a passionate educator, academic leader, mentor, and curriculum specialist who has dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and helping students achieve academic excellence. Over the years, i have evolved from a classroom teacher into an accomplished academic leader, taking on several key responsibilities including Deputy Head of Department (Deputy HOD), Head of Department (HOD), and Academic Coordinator.

My teaching philosophy goes beyond textbooks, marks, and examinations. I believe that education is about developing conceptual clarity, critical thinking, confidence, discipline, and the ability to apply knowledge to real-life situations. My approach to Commerce education focuses on making subjects such as Business Studies, and Economics engaging, practical, and relevant to the world students see around them.

Throughout my 14-year career, I have had the privilege of working with students across different academic levels and have successfully guided them through some of the most important milestones of their educational journey. My consistent focus on academic planning, individual mentoring, innovative teaching methodologies, and systematic examination preparation has contributed to marvellous and consistently outstanding Board examination results. I have been instrumental in helping students not only achieve high scores but also develop a strong conceptual foundation that prepares them for higher education and professional careers.

As a Deputy HOD and HOD, I gained valuable experience in academic administration, departmental planning, teacher collaboration, student mentoring, and the effective implementation of academic strategies. My ability to work closely with colleagues and students enabled me to contribute meaningfully to the overall growth and performance of the department.

As an Academic Coordinator, I expanded my contribution beyond the Commerce department and became actively involved in broader academic planning and coordination. This role enabled me to develop a holistic understanding of school functioning, curriculum management, teacher coordination, academic monitoring, event planning, and student development. My organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities have been key strengths throughout my professional journey.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career has been my association with Board classes. I have consistently worked with dedication and perseverance to help students prepare for their Board examinations. My methodology combines thorough conceptual understanding with regular practice, structured revision, analytical assessment, and personalised guidance. The excellent Board results achieved by my students over the years stand as a testament to my commitment, subject expertise, and ability to bring out the best in every learner.

I believe that every student has unique potential and that the role of a teacher is to identify that potential and provide the right direction, encouragement, and opportunities. My classroom is therefore not merely a space for academic instruction but a place where students are encouraged to ask questions, think independently, learn from mistakes, and develop confidence in their abilities.

My professional journey of 14 years reflects a fine balance of teaching excellence, academic leadership, mentoring, administration, and continuous learning. I consider education a lifelong process and believes that an effective educator must constantly evolve with changing times, teaching methodologies, technology, and the needs of the new generation.

For me teaching is not simply a profession—it is a responsibility and a privilege: to shape minds, build confidence, create opportunities, and empower students to become capable and responsible individuals ready to make their mark in the world.

I started teaching when i was myself studying. Love imparting whatever little knowledge i have.
