My teaching journey has been driven by a deep passion for shaping young minds and creating meaningful learning experiences. Over the years, my experience teaching children in both Singapore and India have given me valuable insight into diverse educational practices, learning styles, and the individual needs of students. This exposure has inspired me to continuously explore innovative, internationally aligned teaching approaches that make learning more engaging, inclusive, and impactful.

My approach to education goes beyond delivering lessons. I strive to understand each learner—their strengths, interests, abilities, challenges, and unique ways of learning—and design experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independent thinking. My experience working with students with diverse learning needs has strengthened my ability to adapt teaching strategies and create supportive learning environments where every child feels valued and empowered.

The evolution of education through technology has further enriched my teaching journey. By combining traditional classroom practices with hybrid and online learning, I have explored new ways of making education accessible, interactive, and student-centred. I integrate digital tools, multimedia resources, learning management systems, virtual collaboration platforms, Canva, mind maps, and productivity tools to create stimulating lessons and memorable learning experiences.

I am a Certified Habits of Mind Practitioner (2023) and hold a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) (2022). My academic background includes an M.A. in Education, B.Ed. in Mathematics & Science, and PGDBA in Operations Management. I am also pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Education from Asian College of Teachers in partnership with European International University, reflecting my commitment to continuous professional growth and educational excellence.

Throughout my career, I have planned and delivered differentiated lessons, assessed student progress, maintained learning records, collaborated closely with parents and colleagues, and contributed to a positive and stimulating classroom culture. I believe strong relationships between teachers, students, parents, and the wider school community are essential to supporting a child’s holistic development.

For me, teaching is not simply a profession—it is a journey of continuous learning, innovation, reflection, and impact. My goal is to harness the best of global educational practices and technology to create learning experiences that inspire young learners today and equip them with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and mindset to succeed tomorrow.

I teach because I believe every child has a unique spark waiting to be discovered. My journey across classrooms in Singapore and India showed me that when we understand how a child learns, rather than simply what they need to learn, education can become truly transformative. Seeing students gain confidence, overcome challenges, and discover joy in learning has been the most rewarding part of my journey.

This belief continues to inspire me to explore innovative teaching methods, blend technology with meaningful human connection, and create inclusive learning experiences where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered.
