About Shweta
Turning “I’m not good at Maths” into “I can do this!” — one engaging lesson at a time. I’m a passionate Primary Mathematics educator who makes learning interactive, joyful, and meaningful.
I am a Primary Mathematics educator with over 6 years of experience in online teaching, currently working as a Cambridge Primary Mathematics Facilitator. Throughout my journey, I have worked with learners across different age groups, abilities, and learning needs, designing engaging and interactive lessons that encourage curiosity, reasoning, and confidence in mathematics. I believe that mathematics is much more than getting the right answer—it is about asking questions, making connections, explaining our thinking, and learning from mistakes. My classroom is therefore a space where learners feel comfortable exploring ideas, sharing their reasoning, and developing a genuine love for learning.
I didn’t choose teaching simply because I love mathematics; I chose it because I love seeing the moment when a learner finally says, “Oh, now I understand!” Over the years, I have taught learners with very different levels of confidence and ability, and I have seen how one small change in explanation, one thoughtful question, or one encouraging conversation can completely transform the way a child approaches mathematics. That is what keeps me teaching. I want my learners to leave my classroom not only knowing how to solve a problem, but also believing, “I can figure this out.”
