Welcome to 21K School. The platform and services, as defined below, are owned, operated, and managed by 21K School Education Private Limited (formerly known as Mindreflex Technologies Private Limited), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, "21K School", "we", "our", or "us"). We are a K-12 learning organisation committed to providing world-class, personalized, and flexible education to learners across India and abroad. We leverage technology to deliver curriculum-based, interactive, and engaging learning experiences in a safe and inclusive digital environment. Our mission is to make quality education accessible and future-ready, empowering students to learn at their own pace under the guidance of qualified educators and a structured academic framework.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.21kschool.com ("Website"), mobile applications, enterprise resource planning systems (ERP), learning management systems (LMS), virtual classrooms, and other digital tools or applications operated by 21K (collectively, the "Platform").

These Terms also apply to the use of physical learning spaces, participation in capstone courses or other educational programs offered by 21K or its subsidiaries & affiliates, and any other services, applications, systems, or spaces through which students, parents, or users interact with or access the educational offerings of 21K (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Platform or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please review the Terms carefully as they represent a legally enforceable contract between you and 21K. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

You agree and acknowledge that we reserve the right, at any time, to modify, suspend, or discontinue any of our Services, products, features, or any other aspect of our Platform, including but not limited to user-generated content (as permitted or required under applicable law), its availability, or the supported devices required to access such Services.

Eligibility

As a learner, in order to use our Services, you must be registered or enrolled as a 21K Learner and have an account with us. You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account and use our Services. By using the Platform or Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are under the age of 18 ("minor child"), you require a parent's/legal guardian's permission to access our Services. If you are a parent/legal guardian of a minor child accessing our Services, you are required to consent to these Terms, and are bound by these Terms thereby.

21K reserves the right to suspend or terminate your registration, enrolment, subscription, or access to the Platform if it is determined that you do not satisfy the required age criteria, or that appropriate parental or guardian consent for registration and use of the Platform has not been duly obtained. You acknowledge that 21K is not obligated to verify compliance with these age or consent requirements, and it remains your (or your parent's/guardian's) sole responsibility to ensure that all such eligibility and consent conditions are met prior to accessing or using the Platform.

Account Registration and Acceptable Use

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information to register an account to access our Services. You agree to update your information as and when there is a change in the same. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

By enrolling for the Services and creating an account, you agree to abide by the following terms:

  • You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or transmit any part of the 21K's Services or its content without prior written permission from 21K. You shall not access or attempt to access any User-Generated Content of other users through unauthorized means.
  • Commercial use of the Services, including the sale of access, advertisements, or promotions, is prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by 21K School.
  • You consent to receive software updates and enhancements from time to time to improve the performance and functionality of our Services.
  • You agree not to use automated systems such as "bots" or "spiders" to access the Platform or collect data, nor to gather or misuse any personal information of other users.
  • You may not access restricted or non-public areas of the Platform or its servers.
  • You agree not to disable, damage, or bypass any security or access control feature of the Platform.
  • Examining or testing the vulnerability of the Platform or related systems is prohibited.
  • You agree not to send misleading or unauthorized communications that appear to originate from 21K School.
  • You agree not to intentionally disrupt, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of the Platform or its Services.

You agree to use our Platform or Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not upload or share any content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or infringing, attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform, misuse the Platform for commercial, promotional, or fraudulent purposes, violate any applicable laws, rules, or third-party rights.

During the use of our Platform or Services, you may be required to disclose certain information, which may be classified as Personally Identifiable Information or Sensitive Personal Information. We may collect, store, or process such information to provide quality services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

Delivery of Services

21K provides the following categories of Services (collectively, "Programmes"):

  1. School Services: Fully online K-12 School, affiliated with Cambridge Assessment International Education, offering British and Indian curriculum delivery, live classes, assessments, and academic support.
  2. Supplementary Programmes: Includes but is not limited to:
    • Capstone programmes: Future-ready skill building programmes.
    • Mastery pathways: Programmes designed to build strong academic foundation
    • Language programmes: Regional and International language programmes
    • Skill-based and enrichment programmes
  3. Platform Services: Access to digital tools including:
    • Parent Hub
    • LMS
    • Academic dashboards
    • Communication tools
  4. Physical Services: Includes access to physical learning spaces such as "Learning Garages", events, workshops, or offline sessions.

You agree that you will have access to our Programme(s) only if you have completed the due registration process for such Programme(s). After successful completion of registration process and payment of due fees, you will be able to log in to our Platform and have seamless access to our Services.

Intellectual Property

Our Platform and all its components β€” including the website, mobile applications (present or future), APIs, databases, software, design elements, educational content created by 21K School employees or partners, logos, and trademarks, including all materials on the Platform, including text, graphics, software, videos β€” are the sole and exclusive property of 21K School and its licensors. These materials are protected under intellectual property, copyright, and trademark laws.

You may not copy, alter, reproduce, decompile, distribute, or use any part of the Platform or Services without prior written consent from 21K School. Nothing in these Terms authorizes you to use the 21K School name, marks, or other proprietary identifiers in any manner.

By agreeing to these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to access and use our Platform and Services for personal, private, and non-commercial learning purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.

User-Generated Content

All comments, posts, or questions shared by parents/guardians in discussion forums, feedback, testimonials, or suggestions submitted through the Platform, documents or images uploaded for assignments, activities, or School interactions, chat messages, Q&A responses, posts, polls, or comments shared by learners or parents/guardians in class groups or discussion boards constitute "User-Generated Content".

You retain ownership of User-Generated Content you share on our Platform. However, by posting or uploading such content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and use it for educational, operational, or promotional purposes in connection with the Platform.

By posting such content, you agree to:

  • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process such content to operate the Services.
  • Represent that you have all rights and permissions to share such content.
  • You may post such content only if it is lawful, respectful, and compliant with these Terms and applicable laws.

You agree not to upload, share, or transmit any content or information that:

  • Belongs to another person without authorization.
  • Is defamatory, obscene, offensive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Harms, exploits, or endangers children in any way.
  • Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
  • Misleads others, spreads false information, or impersonates another person.
  • Threatens national security, public order, or promotes illegal activity.
  • Contains malicious code, viruses, or software intended to damage or disrupt systems.

Your conduct on the Platform must at all times comply with these Terms and applicable laws. Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour toward any student, parent, teacher, or staff member is strictly prohibited. 21K may suspend or terminate your access immediately and take legal action, if necessary, upon discovering such conduct.

21K does not endorse or take responsibility for any User-Generated Content shared by users and reserves the right to remove any material that violates these Terms or infringes intellectual property rights, without prior notice.

You must not record, reproduce, distribute, or share any live class, session, or content available on the Platform except where expressly permitted by 21K. Any unauthorized recording or sharing may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

Disclaimers

Disclaimer

The 21K Platform and its Services, including all learning materials and features, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee specific academic results or outcomes. While we strive to maintain uninterrupted access and high-quality learning experiences, there may be times when the Platform or certain Services are temporarily unavailable. 21K, its affiliates, partners, or service providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from temporary unavailability or suspension of the Platform, errors or inaccuracies in user-generated content, or interruptions in content or services, unauthorized access, data loss, or security breaches; or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or power outages, or governmental actions. 21K makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, accuracy, security, or suitability of the Platform or its content. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue certain features or parts of the Platform at any time without prior notice. 21K shall not be held responsible for any resulting loss or damages.

Third-Party Services

Our Platform may contain links or integrations to third-party services. You acknowledge that such parts of the Platform, as mentioned above, may be provided by third-party service providers. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. You agree to refer to their independent terms and privacy policies and to abide by them.

General Consents and Other Terms

6.1 Parent / Guardian Declarations and Consents

By registering and enrolling a Learner on the Platform, the Parent/Guardian agrees to the following:

Section A – Admission and Communication
  1. The Parent/Guardian confirms that the Learner's admission application for particular grade in a Programme has been submitted based on 21K's age eligibility criteria published on the website. In the event that, the eligibility criteria are not met, Parent/Guardian consents to 21K processing the admission based on the application, and accepts responsibility for any future consequences, if any, arising from the same.
  2. The Parent/Guardian confirms that they have read and understood the admission procedure and age criteria prescribed by 21K, and agree to comply with the same.
  3. The medium of instruction at 21K is English and all communications with Parents/Guardians and on the Platform shall be in English.
  4. The Parent/Guardian confirms that the contact details and address provided during registration are accurate and that 21K may communicate using such information.
  5. The Parent/Guardian hereby consents to receive communications through phone calls, text messages, WhatsApp messages, or email.
Section B – Learning Environment and Class Participation
  1. The Parent/Guardian acknowledges that 21K uses online and computer based medium for delivery of certain Programmes.
  2. The Parent/Guardian acknowledges that the learning experience is optimal when the Learner has access to a laptop or desktop with high-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps) and an appropriate ergonomic seating arrangement.
  3. The Parent/Guardian acknowledges the screen time involved and has no objection to the scheduled batch timings.
  4. The Parent/Guardian agrees that the microphone and web camera of the Learner's device may be required to remain switched on during live classes, assessments, events, or other academic activities as required by 21K from time to time.
  5. Preferred batch timings requested by the Parent/Guardian may not always be available, and 21K reserves the discretion to allocate batches accordingly.
  6. The Parent/Guardian acknowledges that classroom sessions may be recorded and made available to other parents for viewing. 21K may also use such recordings for academic, communication, or promotional purposes, including on social media platforms.
  7. The Parent/Guardian confirms that they have read and understood the FAQs, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Refund Policy, as may be amended from time to time, and agree to be bound by them.

6.2 Payments and Fees

All fees vary depending on the specific programme, grade level, curriculum, or offering selected by the User ("Programme"). Detailed information regarding applicable fees, charges, inclusions, and any available discounts or promotional offers are made available on the website. Certain Programmes may be made available to both enrolled learners and external users who are not part of the full-time Schooling programme. Such Programmes may be subject to separate fee structures and pricing models.

Fees may be payable as a one-time payment or through structured instalment plans, as specified for the relevant Programme. The applicable payment schedule, due dates, and instalment options shall be available on website.

You agree to make timely payments in accordance with the prescribed payment schedule. 21K reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to the Services, Programmes, including classes, content, or Platform features, in the event of non-payment or delay in payment.

All payments shall be processed through authorised payment mechanisms made available on the Platform. In the event that you have opted for an auto-debit feature, you agree that, in case of failure of debit due to insufficient funds, applicable charges or penalties may be levied by your bank or the service provider. 21K shall not be responsible for such charges or penalties, and they shall be borne by you. You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of such payment service providers, where applicable.

All fees are subject to applicable taxes, duties, or levies as required under applicable law, and such amounts shall be payable by the you in addition to the Programme fees. All payments made towards enrolment in any Programme shall be subject to the applicable withdrawal and refund policy, as updated from time to time.

21K reserves the right to revise fees for future academic periods, programmes, or services at its discretion. Any such revisions shall not affect fees already paid for the ongoing term, unless otherwise specified.

6.3 Shipping & Delivery

Any shipping and delivery matters relating to the Student Learning Kit and such other materials shall be governed by this policy ("Shipping & Delivery Policy").

  1. Delivery charges: You will be informed of the applicable delivery charges due for each order prior to making payment. We work with third-party logistics providers to provide you with the best possible rates, where applicable. For detailed terms relating to items, Learning Kits, and shipping services, please refer to the Logistics and Services Policy available on our website.
  2. Dispatch time: All shipments shall be dispatched within 2-5 working days from the date of placement of order.
  3. Delivery time: The estimated delivery timelines for domestic shipments are upto 2 weeks, and for international shipments are upto 4 weeks, from the date of dispatch. Deliveries will be made to the address provided by you at the time of placing the order. Though we endeavour to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
  4. Damaged / Defective goods: If the goods you receive are damaged or defective or not in accordance with your order, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Please refer to our Returns & Exchange policy for more details.
  5. Product Returns: The shipping costs incurred for the return of any item(s) will be borne you. Please refer to our Returns & Exchange policy for more details.

6.4 Withdrawal Policy

Any withdrawal from an enrolled Programme shall be subject to these terms.

  1. Discontinuation within the First Month: The security deposit is fully refundable if the parent decides not to continue with the school within the first month of admission. To initiate the refund process, a written withdrawal request via email must be sent to at least five days prior to the completion of the first month. The email shall specify the reason for such withdrawal. This provision applies exclusively to new admissions and not to mid-term admissions. Failure to raise the withdrawal request within the stipulated timeframe will render the Parent/Guardian liable for payment of the next Instalment. A virtual interaction (VI) with the Principal or Academic Coordinator shall be mandatory before the refund is processing. The refund will only be initiated only upon completion of the VI and receipt of the official withdrawal request email.
  2. Withdrawal in the middle of the academic year: In exceptional cases, Parent/Guardian may withdraw their child in the middle of the academic year by providing a minimum of 30 days' notice to the School via email to on or before 31st December of that academic year. Any withdrawal request submitted after 31st December, shall result in the child being deemed to have continued for the entire academic year, and the Parent/Guardian shall be liable for the applicable fees for the full academic year.
  3. Withdrawal at the end of the academic year: Parents/Guardians who wish to withdraw their child at the end of the academic year must submit a written request via email to by 15th January of that academic year. Submission of such request within the stipulated timeline will ensure that no rollover invoice for textbooks or related materials is raised for the subsequent academic year.
  4. The learner will continue to remain a registered learner of the school unless and until the parent/guardian has formally withdrawn the child's admission from the school in accordance with these terms.
  5. All applicable fees, charges, and dues shall be payable up to the effective date of withdrawal. In case of mid-year withdrawal, the effective date of withdrawal shall be thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the withdrawal request email, duly received within the stipulated timeline. In case of end-of-academic-year withdrawal, the effective date of withdrawal shall be deemed as the last day of the academic year.
  6. Sibling Withdrawal: In the case that one learner is withdrawn while the sibling continues to remain enrolled with the school, any fees paid towards the withdrawn learner shall not be adjusted or transferred towards the fees payable for the continuing sibling. Any applicable sibling discounts shall stand disabled from the effective date of withdrawal and the parent/guardian shall be liable to pay full applicable fees for the continuing sibling.
  7. Issuance of Transfer Certificate (TC): The TC shall be issued upon request to learners who have completed both terms of an academic year and have appeared for and successfully completed the term-end assessments with 21K School and paid all applicable fees and cleared all outstanding dues.
  8. TCs shall be issued only after the announcement of the final results of the respective academic year.
  9. Only digital copies of the Transfer Certificate till Grade 7 will be issued, which are valid and accepted worldwide. Hard copies of the TC can be requested for an additional fee.
  10. Except in the case of homeschooling or learners in Pre-Primary / Early Years, a Transfer Certificate will not be given to a learner who has not submitted a Transfer Certificate from the previous School.
  11. The school reserves the right to withhold any withdrawal related documents of the learner, including Academic report / Transcript / Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate until clearance of all dues and the applicable late payment charges.
  12. Learners studying from Grades 8-12 shall not be issued a TC by 21K School under any circumstances. Ex: learner studying in Grade 8/Grade 9 is expected to continue until Grade 10. Similarly, learner studying in Grade 11 is expected to continue until Grade 12.
  13. All Migration Certificates are issued by the respective Education Board upon completion of 10th or 12th grades, as applicable. 21K School does not provide any additional documents for any grade level between 9th to 12th.

6.5 Refund Policy

  1. Refund of Security Deposit: Any interest-free refundable security deposit paid by the parent at the time of admission is refundable within 6-8 weeks subject to the following conditions:
    1. No interest is payable on the deposit.
    2. The amount of the refund will be calculated after adjusting for any outstanding fees and charges up to the date of withdrawal, including late-fee charges.
  2. Refund of School Fees: Requests for refund of non-refundable payments such as the Registration Fee, School Fee, Textbook Fee, Language Fee, and any fee or charges paid towards examinations, excursions, and other charges will not be considered.
  3. If an annual fee is paid, any excess fee paid for the period beyond the date of withdrawal will be refunded within 6-8 weeks.
  4. In the case of Instalment payments, if the next Instalment has been paid before the start of the next quarter, the refund for that Instalment can be initiated. However, if the parent withdraws after attending the classes in the next quarter, no refund shall be processed.
  5. Refund will be made to the same account and person who has paid the fees initially.
  6. Refund cannot be claimed as a matter of right.
  7. Fees, withdrawals, and refund policy are decided by the school and subject to change at its own discretion.

Miscellaneous

Assignment & Transfer

You cannot transfer or assign your account or any rights and obligations under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to another entity if required, without needing your consent. These Terms apply only to you and do not give any rights or benefits to any third party.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 21K School and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Under no circumstances will 21K School's liability exceed INR 1,000 or, for enrolled students, the total amount of fees you have paid for your enrolment in any program offered by us.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 21K School, our directors, employees, affiliates, partners, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your:

  1. breach of these Terms;
  2. violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or
  3. misuse of the Platform or Services.
Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding your access to and use of the Platform and Services, and supersede any prior understandings, communications, or agreements, whether written or oral, on the same subject matter.

Termination of Access

21K School reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform and Services at any time, whether due to a violation of these Terms, non-compliance with applicable laws, or for any conduct deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the learner community.

In addition, if a learner discontinues, withdraws, or is removed from 21K School for any reason, access to the Services will be terminated accordingly. Upon termination, your right to use or access the Services shall cease immediately.

Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect legal or operational changes. The "Effective Date" at the top will indicate the latest revision and the revised Terms shall be effective from the date it is posted. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Irrespective of your geographical location, by accessing or using our Platform and Services, you are contracting with 21K School Education Private Limited (formerly known as Mindreflex Technologies Private Limited), having its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

All disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform or Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

However, with respect to the application of data protection and privacy laws, the laws of the country where the user is located may also apply, to the extent that such laws have extraterritorial effect or are mandatorily applicable under the host country's legal framework.
