About Sushma
I am an educator with experience in Mathematics, Science, and Computational Thinking, passionate about making learning engaging, meaningful, and connected to real life.
My teaching journey has given me the opportunity to work across different subjects and age groups. I began as a Mathematics Facilitator for Grades 6–10, followed by teaching Science for Grades 6–8. I currently work as a Computational Thinking (CoTh) Facilitator for Grades 3–5. These experiences have helped me understand learners at different stages and develop a teaching approach that combines conceptual understanding, creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application. I enjoy creating learning experiences that encourage learners to question, explore, think independently, and apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.
I teach because I enjoy seeing the moment when a learner moves from “I can’t do this” to “I figured it out!” Over the years, whether it was solving a challenging Mathematics problem, understanding a Science concept, or creating a program, I have seen how curiosity and the right learning experience can change a learner’s confidence. For me, teaching is about creating those moments of discovery and helping learners become confident thinkers who are not afraid to explore, make mistakes, and try again.

Sushma’s Philosophy
I believe every learner can learn when given the right environment, encouragement, and opportunities to explore. My role as a facilitator is not just to deliver knowledge, but to spark curiosity, build confidence, encourage independent thinking, and help learners connect their learning with the real world. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, and classrooms should be spaces where learners feel safe to question, experiment, and grow.
