About Priyanka
National Radhakrishnan Teachers Awardee (2024) and IB Certified Hindi Language Educator B.Ed. and Master’s degrees in Hindi Literature and Political Science.
experience across EYP, PYP, and MYP, along with leadership experience as a Hindi Language HOD. She holds a B.Ed. and Master’s degrees in Hindi Literature and Political Science and is passionate about inquiry-based learning, language development, bilingual communication, and nurturing a global perspective through Hindi. Her dedication to education has been recognized through the National Radhakrishnan Teachers Award (2024), the Pillar of the Nation Award (2025), and an Appreciation Certificate for her contribution to NEP 2020-based Hindi teaching activities. She believes in creating inclusive, learner-centred classrooms where language connects with culture, creativity, communication, and real-life experiences.
I did not choose teaching only as a profession; over the years, it became a way of making a difference in a learner’s life. One moment that has stayed with me throughout my teaching journey is seeing learners who initially felt that Hindi was difficult, unfamiliar, or “not for them”slowly begin to speak, read, and express themselves with confidence. In international and IB classrooms, I have taught learners from different countries and language backgrounds, and I have learned that every child connects with a language differently. Sometimes, a learner’s first simple sentence in Hindi, a confidently spoken word, or a small improvement in handwriting feels more meaningful than any test score.
This is why I teach—to create those small moments of confidence. Whether I am designing a curriculum, telling a story, conducting an inquiry, or using a digital game, my aim is to make Hindi a language that learners want to use, not just a subject they have to studyAfter many years in education, I still believe that the most rewarding part of teaching is watching a learner discover, “I can do this.”

Priyanka’s Philosophy
Every learner can learn when given the right environment, encouragement, and opportunities.
I believe language learning should be meaningful, joyful, practical, and connected to real-life experiences.
I use inquiry-based and learner-centred approaches to build confidence, communication, creativity, and curiosity.
I believe Hindi is not just a language; it is a bridge to culture, identity, connection, and global understanding.
My goal is to help every learner say, “I can speak, I can express, and I can learn.”
