About Tabassum
I am a dedicated Hindi Facilitator passionate about making Hindi engaging, accessible and meaningful for young learners. I focus on building strong language skills through interactive, creative and learner-centred teaching, while helping every learner develop confidence and a genuine appreciation for the Hindi language and culture.
My teaching journey has been driven by a deep passion for the Hindi language and a strong belief that every learner can develop confidence when given the right guidance, encouragement and opportunities. As a Hindi Facilitator, I enjoy creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where learners feel comfortable expressing themselves and developing their Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills. I believe language learning should be interactive, joyful and connected to real-life experiences, so I use stories, conversations, creative activities, visual resources, games and technology to make Hindi meaningful for young learners. I also use AI tools and digital platforms to enhance learning, provide engaging practice and support different learning needs. Differentiation and personalised support are an important part of my teaching, especially when working with learners from diverse language backgrounds. Throughout my journey, I have focused not only on academic progress but also on building confidence, creativity, curiosity and a genuine appreciation for Hindi language and culture. I value continuous assessment, reflection and strong communication with parents to ensure that every learner receives the support they need to grow. For me, teaching Hindi is not simply about teaching a language; it is about helping learners find their voice, celebrate their progress and develop a lifelong connection with language and culture.
I believe that teaching a language is not simply about teaching words, grammar or rules—it is about giving learners a voice, building their confidence and opening a window to culture and connection. My journey as a Hindi Facilitator has been shaped by a desire to make Hindi learning meaningful, joyful and accessible to every learner. I especially value those moments when a hesitant learner begins to speak with confidence, reads a sentence independently or proudly shares their ideas in Hindi. These small moments of growth are what make teaching truly rewarding for me. I strive to create a classroom where learners feel safe to explore, make mistakes, ask questions and express themselves freely. Through stories, conversations, creative activities, technology and AI-supported learning, I aim to bring Hindi beyond the textbook and connect it with learners’ everyday experiences. My purpose is not only to help learners learn Hindi, but to inspire them to enjoy the language, appreciate its rich culture and discover the confidence to find their own voice.
