British early years: Learning through play in KG1–KG2

Stories, movement, music and hands-on activities build early skills across language, mathematics, creativity and personal development, with support from a Learning Coach at home.

KG1 and KG2 build language, early mathematics, physical development, creativity, personal-social growth, and understanding of the world. Learning occurs through themes, stories, movement, music, and hands-on activity. A Learning Coach—defined as a parent or another responsible adult at home—supports the child during live classes and daily routines.

“Entire curriculum looks well planned and age appropriate. Every facilitator is so knowledgable and incredible who teaches with so much patience and addresses every question with so much ease. My child Siya, has grown into a confident student because of the unwavering support given by the facilitator and the whole family of 21kSchool. I thank the school for helping my child into her overall development.”

Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary: Learning to think, explain and apply

Learners build strong subject foundations by explaining their reasoning, connecting ideas across contexts and using feedback to strengthen their understanding.

Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary develop secure subject foundations together with inquiry, communication, reasoning, and application. Facilitators encourage learners to explain how they reached an answer, connect ideas across contexts, and use feedback to strengthen their understanding.

All 21K School facilitators are at least graduates in the subject they teach, possess documented teaching experience, and hold a teaching qualification (such as a B.Ed. or a recognized teaching diploma from Cambridge or IB).

“21K School has provided an outstanding experience for our children, from engaging daily classes to inspiring guest speakers. We truly appreciate the way the school hosts events like Artmatica and Artfest that encourage students to think creatively and beyond the classroom. The focus on ATLs and HOMs is also commendable. It equips students with essential skills for both academics and real-world challenges. In our view, it’s vital for children to see school as a space for learning, joy, teamwork, and friendship, while also learning to respect others and maintain healthy boundaries. Overall, 21K School is doing an excellent job.”

Cambridge International AS & A Level: A pathway for the future

AS & A Level: Subjects built around university plans

No fixed Science, Commerce, or Humanities streams at Grades 11–12.

Grades 11 and 12 provide increasing specialization. Learners build subject combinations around university prerequisites and career direction rather than being confined to rigid Science, Commerce, or Humanities streams. Academic guidance ensures that flexible subject combinations preserve future degree options.

Grades 11–12: subject combinations built around university plans, with no fixed streams.

What Cambridge learning asks of a learner

Learners interpret evidence, explain their reasoning, justify conclusions and apply what they know to unfamiliar problems.

Cambridge learning places value on conceptual understanding, analysis, evaluation, problem-solving, and clear communication. Learners do more than reproduce information; they interpret evidence, justify conclusions, and apply knowledge in unfamiliar situations.

At 21K School, live classes, discussion, independent work, interdisciplinary learning, practice, and feedback help develop these capabilities. Personalised, Flexible and Accelerated (PFA) learning forms the three cornerstone pillars of this academic approach.

Choosing Cambridge subjects: A pathway guided by strengths and future plans

Academic record, individual strengths and longer-term goals help shape each learner’s subject combination.

Subject selection begins with the learner’s academic record, strengths, and longer-term goals. At IGCSE, English is included within the minimum five-subject pathway. Learners may choose additional subjects when the combination, overall workload, and timetable align.

At AS & A Level, university prerequisites become critical. A learner considering engineering, medicine, business, design, or the humanities may need specific subject choices. The Senior School academic team reviews these implications with learners and parents prior to admission. Fees correlate directly to the specific subjects taken with 21K School, with complete schooling serving as the core delivery model.

21K School offers a wide choice of approved Cambridge subjects across IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level. Subject availability depends on qualification level, examination series, scheduling, and examination venue approvals. The academic team assists each learner in constructing a coherent combination.

Cambridge senior school: Subject-based classes capped at 24 learners

Learners attend the classes for their chosen subjects, creating a timetable shaped around their individual subject combination.

Classes are led by our teachers, whom we call subject-expert facilitators. Average facilitator teaching experience across the faculty is 6.7 years. Senior School classes are capped at a maximum of 24 learners. Sessions run five days a week across two operational windows: 9:30 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. IST and 11:10 a.m. to 7:20 p.m. IST.

Learners attend only the sessions assigned to their chosen subjects; the operational window does not represent continuous daily screen time. Independent study, reading, assignments, revision, projects, and offline activity complete the learning rhythm.

Cambridge examinations and certification: Independently assessed

21K School prepares learners through assessments, mock examinations, past-paper practice and feedback; Cambridge International evaluates the final examinations and issues official results and certificates.

School assessments, mock examinations, past-paper practice, and detailed feedback build readiness for Cambridge standards. Final IGCSE, AS, and A Level examinations are conducted and evaluated independently by Cambridge International at approved physical examination venues. Cambridge International issues all official results and certificates.

21K School assists families with examination registration and venue coordination in India and abroad. Partnered examination venues are available in Bengaluru and Delhi, with additional regional venues added periodically.

Cambridge International runs three primary exam series annually: May/June, October/November, and an India-specific March series. Learners may enter approved examination series subject to Cambridge entry rules and venue availability. Families should consult the Senior School academic team to determine the optimal series for their child's timeline.

Science practical learning at 21K School: From virtual labs to A Level practicals

Learners up to Grade 10, build scientific understanding through virtual labs, demonstrations and safe at-home experiments, with in-person practicals where required at A Level.

Up to Grade 10, science programs offered by 21K School do not require separate physical laboratory practicals for final assessment. Scientific understanding develops through virtual laboratories, live demonstrations, and safe at-home experiments.

At AS & A Level, practical requirements depend on the chosen science subject and syllabus specification. Where physical practical assessments are required, learners complete them at an approved physical examination venue under Cambridge arrangements.

Is the Cambridge pathway right for your child?

A pathway designed for learners who value inquiry, deeper understanding, flexible subject choices and progression to further study in India and internationally.

Cambridge suits learners who thrive on inquiry, independent thinking, flexible subject choices, and international academic mobility. The primary advantage lies in developing deep conceptual understanding and clear evidence-based communication through globally recognized qualifications.

The optimal choice depends on your child’s prior curriculum, learning style, target subjects, and long-term university ambitions. Pathways should be selected based on educational fit rather than prestige alone.
