Roman Fatima

Roman Fatima is a Spanish language educator with experience teaching learners across IGCSE, IB, and CBSE curricula. Her teaching journey has involved working with students at different proficiency levels, with a strong focus on building communicative confidence, developing language skills, and preparing learners for academic examinations. She has experience designing customized lesson plans, developing curriculum-aligned learning materials, and creating engaging, student-centered lessons that connect language learning with culture and real-world communication. She has also prepared students for examinations including Cambridge IGCSE, IB Spanish, DELE, and AP Spanish. Academically, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and a Master’s degree in Spanish Language from Jawaharlal Nehru University, along with a Diploma of Hispanic Linguistic Studies from the University of Salamanca and specialized training in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). She is SIELE certified and has a strong academic foundation in Spanish linguistics, literature, translation, interpretation, and language pedagogy. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable using Spanish, developing their confidence through meaningful practice, and discovering the language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
