Technology That Helps Us Teach and Learn Better
The platform, classrooms and tools behind your child's school day, and what you need at home.

Technology at 21K School does not replace our teachers, whom we call facilitators. It provides the digital environment that helps facilitators teach with greater visibility, gives your child seamless access across locations, and keeps your family informed about academic progress.
The most important moments in education remain human: a thoughtful question, timely feedback, a learner asking for help, and a facilitator recognizing what is not yet understood.
In the 2025–26 academic year alone, our platform supported 137,200 hours of live online teaching and managed 49,680 pages of marked learner work.
One platform for your child’s whole school day
Classes, resources, assignments and reports in one place.
The 21K Learning Portal brings live classes, study resources, assignments, assessments, facilitator feedback, and progress tracking into a single unified environment. Your child can access everything they need for their daily routine without navigating disconnected systems.
The Learning Portal organizes course materials, assignment submission portals, and performance analytics into an intuitive dashboard tailored to your child's grade level and chosen pathway.
Live classes built for participation
Video, chat, polls and breakout groups in managed classrooms.
Your child joins facilitators and classmates in real-time online sessions. Audio, video, chat, screen sharing, live polling, breakout discussion groups, and collaborative whiteboards are powered by Zoom Video Conferencing, seamlessly integrated directly into our Learning Portal.
Participation follows clear school guidelines so that every classroom environment remains secure, respectful, and focused on learning.
Resources and recordings beyond the lesson
Libraries, practice and secure recordings for revision
Digital libraries, lesson notes, and practice activities allow your child to review concepts and continue learning outside scheduled class hours. Class sessions are recorded and made available through the portal for revision or to catch up after an excused absence.
Recordings support continuous learning, but they do not replace live attendance and active participation in class.
Missed a class? Ask how recordings and notes help your child catch up.
Assessment that informs teaching
How assessment data shapes feedback and support
Daily assignments, quizzes, project submissions, and portfolio evidence help facilitators evaluate your child’s understanding in real time. This continuous data guides personalized feedback, academic interventions, and extension activities.
Parents and learners can access regular performance updates through progress reports on the Learning Portal. School summative assessments are conducted online under secure proctoring standards.
Note: Formal Board examinations, such as NIOS or Pearson Edexcel, are administered in person at designated physical exam centers in accordance with official Board policies.
AI-assisted practice at your child’s level
Adaptive tools that target gaps, with facilitators in charge.
Depending on their grade and pathway, learners may use adaptive, AI-assisted practice tools that respond to their current level of understanding. These tools help strengthen foundations, provide targeted practice and offer scaffolded learning at an individual pace. Using learner-response data and machine learning, the platform can identify areas where a learner may benefit from additional support, practice or challenge. We have our dedicated artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, industry-standard data privacy and security tools powered by AWS Cloud Servers
Virtual laboratories and subject tools
Virtual labs, coding and research tools by subject
Virtual laboratories enable your child to investigate scientific principles, adjust variables, and conduct interactive experiments in a safe digital space. Additional digital tools support computer programming, data analysis, research, and creative media production.
Digital simulations are combined with facilitator explanations and safe, practical activities conducted at home. Senior School Board-assessed practical components are completed at designated physical examination venues where required by the curriculum.
How we keep online classes safe and private
Managed classrooms, access controls and trained facilitators
We maintain a secure digital environment through structured technical controls and administrative protocols:
- Authenticated Access
- All sessions require single sign-on (SSO) credentials issued through official school accounts.
- Managed Waiting Rooms
- Facilitators manually verify every participant before granting entry to live video classrooms.
- Controlled Sharing & Messaging
- Screen sharing and chat permissions are managed directly by facilitators to eliminate external disruptions.
- Data Privacy Protocols
- Learner records, recordings, and personal information are encrypted and restricted according to our strict safeguarding policies.
Facilitators receive regular professional development in child safety, cybersecurity best practices, and digital classroom management.

Questions parents ask about technology
Does my child need advanced technical skills?
No. Learners receive a step-by-step onboarding program to familiarize themselves with the Learning Portal. For younger children (Nursery to Grade 2), a parent or Learning Coach—a designated family member who assists with basic device navigation—provides home-side guidance. Our technical support desk is available to assist parents and learners throughout the school week.
Are classes recorded?
Yes. Secure classroom recordings are uploaded to the Learning Portal within 24 hours of session completion. Access is strictly restricted to enrolled students in that specific section for revision and catch-up purposes, remaining available for the duration of the active academic term.
Can technology replace a facilitator?
No. Technology serves strictly as an instructional aid and administrative framework. Our facilitators lead every live session, answer questions, assess progress, provide feedback, and build meaningful relationships with learners. AI tools are used solely for supplemental practice drills and skill reinforcement.
What happens if the internet fails?
If an internet disruption occurs, your child can access class notes, slides, and secure video recordings on the portal once connectivity is restored. Keep a backup connection, such as a mobile hotspot, available to minimize class interruptions.
Technology that stays in the background
Tools that remove friction so facilitators and learners can focus.
The best learning technology operates quietly in the background. It removes administrative friction, provides clear visibility into academic growth, and gives facilitators and learners the space to focus on meaningful education.
