Learner and parent information
Identity and age proof
Keep the learner’s full legal name, date of birth and identity or age proof ready in the requested format. Depending on the application, the checklist may call for a birth certificate, National Identity Card like Aadhar in India or passport, and digital passport-size photographs for issuing School ID card.
Contact and address details
Have current parent or guardian contact details and residential address information available. The school will confirm the acceptable address proof and submission format for your application.
Previous academic records

Report cards and progress records
Recent report cards or progress records help us understand the grade completed, subjects studied and continuity of learning. Clear and current copies help prevent avoidable delays.
Transfer certificate
Transfer certificate or a similar record is required, and can be submitted after admissions but before 30 September. Exceptions vary by grade, pathway and the learner’s previous school.
Grades 9 to 12
Senior School applicants require previous report cards and an academic discussion before admission. This helps the school review the learner’s past performance, subject choices and next-step pathway.
We are very happy with our experience at 21K School. The British curriculum and supportive teaching approach have helped our son, Ruhaan, grow with confidence. We have especially noticed a significant improvement in his communication skills and overall personality development. Thank you to the teachers and the entire school team for creating such a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Pathway and subject information
Senior School applicants should have an initial view of the preferred pathway and subjects. This choice does not need to be final before the first call. The academic team can explain subject combinations, prerequisites, examination requirements and possible future implications so the family can make an informed decision.
Additional records in some cases
For a change of Board, accelerated progression, learning-support need, examination registration or another exceptional circumstance, the school may request additional records. A diagnostic assessment may be recommended when it helps secure a more responsible placement.
What you’ll need at home
A suitable device
Your child will need a desktop or laptop with a working webcam and audio to attend live classes. Mobile phones and tablets are not recommended because their smaller screens and limited functionality make sustained participation harder.
A reliable internet connection
Plan for a broadband connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps. Reliable connectivity helps the learner take part in live sessions without avoidable interruption.
A practical workspace
Set up a comfortable table and chair, storage for books, essential stationery and notebooks for written work and homework. A quiet, well-lit space with a simple background wall or curtain helps your child focus during live learning.
Learning kit and learning coach
Where included in the learner’s programme, the learning kit is ordered after registration and delivered home by 21K School. A Learning Coach—parent, grandparent or capable adult—is mandatory for Pre-Primary and recommended for older learners. The Learning Coach supports live-class supervision and helps the learner follow through with activities and homework.
How to send documents safely
Use the process communicated by the school for all sensitive documents. Document requirements can change by programme and Board, and the checklist shared during your application remains the source of truth for your child’s admission. Do not send sensitive documents through informal channels.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need a transfer certificate?
It is as per 21K School Student Enrollment & Admission Compliance Standard, governed under the school’s academic affiliation requirements for recognised national and international boards (including the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and international awarding bodies Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge Assessment International Education). Policy Owner: Academic Directorate & Admissions Compliance Office, 21K School. Review Date: Reviewed annually prior to the start of each academic session (Last Reviewed: March 2026).
What if we don’t have a birth certificate?
Share the age and identity proof you do have during the application conversation. The team will explain the acceptable documentation (for example, passport or other national identity card that shows date of birth) for your child’s programme.
My child was homeschooled, what records do we provide?
Share any available progress records, learning portfolio or other evidence of prior learning. The school may recommend a conversation or diagnostic assessment to confirm the most appropriate placement.
Do we need a printer or scanner at home?
A printer or scanner is not a general requirement for learning. Home assignments, projects or notes for review by teachers can be submitted using mobile phones and our 21K ecampus App available on both Android and iOS
Can my child attend on a tablet?
Mobile phones and tablets are not recommended for regular live classes. A desktop or laptop with webcam and audio provides a more workable learning experience.
What internet speed is needed?
Plan for broadband with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps. Reliable connectivity is as important as speed for steady participation.
When are documents verified?
Documents are reviewed as part of the application and placement process. Not all documents are required to be submitted at time of admission. The School’s Parent Hub and Admission process will guide the parents step by step.
What if we’re applying from outside India?
Nothing changes. The process remains the same for all learners irrespective of their nationality or residence country.
