I am a passionate and dedicated Cambridge Mathematics Educator with 8+ years of teaching experience, specializing in Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A Level Mathematics, and secondary Mathematics. I hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.Ed., and have developed extensive experience in curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning, assessment, enrichment programmes, and technology-enhanced teaching.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that Mathematics is not merely a subject to be learned, but a way of thinking, reasoning, problem-solving and making sense of the world. I aim to create inclusive and engaging learning environments where learners develop conceptual understanding, mathematical confidence, curiosity, perseverance and independent thinking.

With experience across Cambridge and digital learning environments, I have worked with diverse and mixed-ability learners, designing personalised learning experiences that respond to individual needs. I integrate educational technology and mathematical tools such as GeoGebra, Google Workspace and Canva to make abstract mathematical concepts more visual, accessible and meaningful.

I have also contributed to Mathematics curriculum leadership, teacher development, data-informed assessment, remedial and enrichment programmes, Student Voice initiatives, and Social-Emotional Learning. My professional experience includes teaching AS & A Level Mathematics, leading a Mathematics Department, and supporting learners in digital learning environments.

My professional certifications include CAIE IGCSE Mathematics Extended Training, CAIE Exam Officer Training, Google Certified Educator, Apple Certified Teacher, Certified Applications of GeoGebra, and International Career Coach (CDA). I am currently pursuing the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL) to further strengthen my professional practice, pedagogical knowledge and understanding of effective teaching and learning within the Cambridge international education context.

I am committed to continuous professional development, reflective practice and lifelong learning, with a strong focus on creating meaningful learning experiences that empower every learner to **question, explore, persist and achieve.

From Math Phobia to a Love for Mathematics

My journey as a Mathematics educator began with something unexpected—I was once afraid of Mathematics. I struggled with the subject and never imagined that Mathematics would one day become my passion.

Then, I had a teacher who saw potential in me when I could not see it in myself. With patience, encouragement and the right guidance, my fear slowly turned into understanding. The moment I truly understood Mathematics, everything changed. I began to enjoy solving problems, exploring ideas and challenging myself.

That journey eventually led me to pursue Mathematics at university, where I went on to graduate with a Gold Medal. Looking back, I realise that the turning point was not simply learning Mathematics—it was having someone who believed in me and helped me believe in myself.

That experience shaped the educator I wanted to become. I decided that I wanted to be that person for someone else—the teacher who helps a learner move from “I can't do Mathematics” to “I can.”

I teach because I know, from my own experience, that the right teacher can transform fear into confidence, struggle into understanding, and a subject into a lifelong passion.
