About Moumita
English Facilitator with a Master’s in English and B.Ed., passionate about creating engaging, learner-centred experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking.
I am an English Facilitator with a Master’s degree in English and a B.Ed., bringing over a decade of experience in education across different school settings. My teaching journey has been shaped by a deep belief that learning becomes meaningful when learners are encouraged to question, explore, express, and connect ideas with their own experiences. As an online facilitator at 21K School, I strive to create a learner-centred and inclusive environment where every learner feels heard, supported, and confident to participate. I use interactive discussions, creative activities, formative assessment, digital tools, and differentiated strategies to nurture not only language skills but also critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and independent learning. I particularly enjoy making literature and language engaging by connecting them to real-life contexts and encouraging learners to think beyond the textbook. Over the years, I have also enjoyed contributing to school initiatives, literary activities, assemblies, and collaborative learning experiences. For me, teaching is not simply about delivering lessons—it is about facilitating curiosity, building confidence, and inspiring learners to become thoughtful, capable, and lifelong learners.
I teach because I believe every learner has a voice, a story, and the potential to discover something wonderful about themselves through learning. Over the years, I have realised that some of the most meaningful moments in a classroom are not when a lesson goes exactly as planned, but when a learner suddenly becomes curious, asks an unexpected question, or finds the confidence to express an idea they were once hesitant to share.
One moment that has stayed with me is seeing a quiet learner gradually become an active participant—not because they were told to speak, but because they felt safe enough to share their thoughts. That experience reminded me that teaching is not only about imparting knowledge; it is about creating spaces where learners feel valued, heard, and encouraged to take risks.
For me, teaching is a journey of learning together. I want my learners to leave my classroom not just with better English, but with greater confidence, curiosity, empathy, and the courage to think for themselves. That is why I teach—to facilitate learning, inspire possibilities,

Moumita’s Philosophy
Every learner can learn, grow, and shine when given the right support and opportunities.
Learning is most meaningful when learners actively explore, question, connect, and reflect.
I believe in facilitating learning rather than simply delivering knowledge.
