early in my 15-year career, a quiet student who constantly struggled with formal Marathi grammar was assigned to read a classic piece of literature aloud. Overwhelmed and hesitant, he almost gave up. Instead of drilling him on textbook rules, I shifted the focus to the story itself—the rhythm of the words, the emotion behind the phrasing, and the vibrant heritage it represented. When the meaning finally clicked, his entire demeanor changed. He didn't just read the passage; he spoke it with genuine pride and confidence.

That single moment defines why I teach. I don't just teach Marathi to help students pass exams; I teach to build bridges between generations, turn hesitation into eloquence, and spark a lifelong love for our rich language and culture.
