Aarti Bhardwaj

With over 10 years of experience in Science and Chemistry education, I am passionate about creating engaging, meaningful, and learner-centred experiences that go beyond academic knowledge. As a Cambridge-certified educator with a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, I have taught across diverse curricula, including Cambridge, MYP, ICSE, and CBSE, developing a broad understanding of different educational approaches and learner needs. Throughout my teaching journey, I have designed and implemented inquiry-based lessons, interdisciplinary learning experiences, practical investigations, and projects that encourage learners to apply scientific concepts to real-world contexts. I have supported learners in developing strong conceptual understanding while also preparing them for examinations and fostering skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, and digital literacy. Building meaningful rapport with learners has been central to my practice, enabling me to create a supportive learning environment where they feel confident to question, experiment, and share ideas. I have also contributed to curriculum planning, resource development, and the integration of technology into learning, continually adapting my practice to meet the needs of diverse learners. My goal is to empower learners to become curious, confident, independent thinkers who are well prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.

I teach because I want learners to experience Science not simply as a subject, but as a way of understanding the world around them. My goal is to build curiosity by connecting scientific concepts to real-life experiences and making learning meaningful, engaging, and relevant. I love creating those “I never thought about it that way!” moments that encourage learners to ask questions, investigate, and discover answers for themselves. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing that curiosity grow into confidence and, ultimately, a genuine love for Science.
