About Bhoomi
I’m Bhoomi Bharat Kalena, a Computational Thinking educator who transforms technology into joyful, meaningful learning experiences for young minds. With a passion for creativity, problem-solving, and digital learning, I help learners build the skills and confidence to think, create, and innovate.
My teaching journey is rooted in a simple belief: every learner is a thinker, creator, and problem-solver. With a Master’s degree in Information Technology and experience in primary education and Computational Thinking, I bring together technology, creativity, and purposeful learning to make digital education engaging and meaningful. I enjoy creating learning experiences where learners do more than use technology—they question, explore, collaborate, design, and build solutions. From coding and digital tools to creative projects and real-world problem-solving, I strive to nurture curiosity, confidence, and computational thinking skills in young learners. Working across Grades 1–5 and diverse curricula, including Cambridge and IB, has strengthened my ability to adapt learning experiences to different needs and learning styles. For me, teaching is not just about preparing learners for technology; it is about empowering them to become thoughtful creators of the future.
I teach because I love the moment when a learner says, “I did it!”—especially when they discover the solution on their own. My journey in education began with technology, but over time I realised that the most meaningful part of teaching is not the tool or the code; it is the curiosity, confidence, and excitement that grows in a learner while exploring it. This is what drew me to Computational Thinking. I enjoy turning everyday questions into opportunities to experiment, create, make mistakes, and try again. Whether a learner is writing their first lines of code, designing an app, or solving a problem in an unexpected way, I want them to leave my class believing that their ideas matter and that they are capable of creating something new. That feeling of discovery is why I teach.

Bhoomi’s Philosophy
Every learner is a thinker, creator, and problem-solver.
Technology should empower learners to create, not just consume.
Curiosity is the beginning of meaningful learning.
Mistakes are not failures; they are opportunities to discover, rethink, and grow.
I believe the best learning happens when learners explore, collaborate, question, and confidently find their own solutions.
