I am an English educator and English Mastery Pathway Facilitator with over five years of teaching experience across IB and ICSE curricula. My journey in education has been shaped by a strong passion for language, literature, and creating meaningful learning experiences for young learners. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with learners across different age groups and learning levels, helping them develop their communication, reading, writing, critical thinking, and creative expression. I hold a BA, B.Ed., MA, and M.Ed., and am NET qualified. In my current role, I focus on designing engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences that encourage learners to think independently, express their ideas confidently, and connect learning to real-world contexts. I believe that every learner has a unique voice and potential, and my goal as a facilitator is to create a supportive environment where curiosity, creativity, and confidence can thrive.
I believe I chose teaching because I have always loved the power of words and the way a simple conversation, story, or question can change the way someone thinks. One of the most rewarding moments for me is when a learner who was initially hesitant suddenly raises their hand, shares an idea, or proudly says, “I got it!” Those small moments remind me why I teach. For me, teaching is not just about completing a curriculum; it is about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and helping learners discover that their ideas matter. Every learner brings a different perspective to the classroom, and being able to guide them, learn from them, and watch them grow is what makes teaching meaningful to me.
