How does 21K School’s admission and online classes work?

21K School admission and online classes work in the most simple way. We’re not a homeschooling programme but a complete online school offering live online classes, experienced teachers, whom we call facilitators, and a diverse learning community.

  1. Step 1: Registration

Start by submitting an online application form through our Registration Portal and complete the registration fee payment online. There is a non-refundable registration fee of ₹975 + payment gateway charges, for initial profile processing. It is typically completed within the same day.

  2. Step 2: Diagnostic assessment/ academic discussion

A diagnostic assessment may be recommended depending on your child’s grade level and selected pathway. An academic discussion is recommended for senior grades (Grades 6 to 12) to review syllabus coverage, previous academic records, and subject options. It typically takes 1 to 2 business days.

  3. Step 3: Video interaction & confirmation

Next, you’ll be headed for a video interaction with our admissions facilitator to understand your child's learning preferences, interests, and learning needs. It helps in confirmation of the best pathway and grade to your child. It typically takes 2 to 3 business days.

  4. Step 4: Delivery of learning kit

We deliver a physical learning kit containing learning resources, activity books, and specialised materials to your doorstep for all our Pre-Primary through Middle School (Nursery to Grade 8) learners. It typically takes 5 to 7 business days post enrolment.

  5. Step 5: Daily live class structure

We deliver daily live classes Monday through Friday, with four convenient daily timing slots in Indian Standard Time (IST) through our interactive online learning platform. Live sessions run 1 hour per day for Nursery-KG, 2 hours per day for grades 1-5, 3 hours per day for grades 6-8 and 4 hours per day for grades 9-12.

  6. Step 6: Online co-curricular conferences & events

Our learners enjoy online structured co-curricular events throughout the year like the 21K Science Fest, Mathalon, Lit Fest, Art Fest, Model United Nations (MUN), and Learner-Led Conferences (LLC).

  7. Step 7: Annual academic calendar & flexible intakes

We follow a structured academic calendar aligned with national and international board schedules. The flexible intakes are held in April, June, September, and January to accommodate different Bangalore families seeking relaxation from fixed admission dates.

The numbers tell a part of our story

Our biggest wins are the 25,000+ learners who are growing with us every day, and the 314+ learners who have graduated from 21K and continued shining.

  • Home schooling is a concept that became popular after corona, and 21K has given the best experience for my kid to have the same school experience as in traditional schools during the pandemic. Keep it up, 21K!

  • 21K has exceeded our expectations of an online school. In my opinion, the knowledge gained here is far more comprehensive than the spoon-feeding approach of traditional offline schools. I will surely recommend 21K to everyone.

  • 21K School is a very good online school compared to a physical one, in my opinion. It offers diverse options for kids according to their pace. It is a formal school from 21K, hosting students from all around the world with creative ideas, passion, and excellent communication.

  • "As a parent, one of the biggest advantages of 21K School has been the flexibility it offers without compromising on academic support. My son, Aarav Sanjay, is currently in Grade 10 and has been a student here for the past two years. As a competitive tennis player participating in national-level tournaments, a conventional schooling structure would have made it extremely difficult for him to pursue his sporting ambitions seriously. 21K has made that balance possible. The flexibility in scheduling, access to class recordings to catch up on missed sessions, and the constant support from teachers who ensure there are no learning gaps have made a tremendous difference in his journey. Most importantly, Aarav is a happy, motivated child who feels supported both academically and personally—and for us as parents, that means everything. His desire to continue with 21K through Grade 12 says more than anything else ever could."

  • "We are really happy with 21K School and the experience Bryan has had so far. Earlier, school schedules used to be very hectic and stressful for him, but now he is much more comfortable and happy with learning. One thing we really appreciate is that Bryan now gets enough time for other activities, to spend time with family and also enjoy time with his friends, which he didn't have earlier. We can clearly see a positive change in him. The teachers are supportive, classes are well managed, and the overall learning environment feels stress-free and child friendly. Bryan is more confident now and enjoys learning at his own pace. Thank you to the entire 21K team for all the support and care."

  • "My Son Joshua Rodrigo's journey with 21 K School has been incredible. He chose 21 k because of the flexibility he had to focus on his Football and his Academic. The school has been successful in striking an appropriate balance between Academic and Co-Curricular activities. All his teachers are so motivational. They were totally there with him encouraging him in all circumstances. I appreciate how the teachers use Interactive boards to make lessons engaging. I must say that you are really doing a great job. You give attention to each child and make sure that each child in your class is able to learn. Joshua is progressing well academically. His confidence has boosted up a lot as earlier he was very introvert. Very happy with the school system and with the cooperative attitude of the teachers for making my child more confident to participate in his daily class activities. Truly appreciate from my bottom of my heart."
