Mastery Begins with What the Learner Can Do Now
Online English and Mathematics pathways provide targeted challenge, reinforcement and progression alongside the learner’s on-campus education.

A skills-first pathway
Learners of the same age can have different strengths and unfinished foundations. One may read confidently but need help structuring writing. Another may calculate accurately but struggle to explain mathematical reasoning. Mastery begins with the learner’s present skills rather than assuming that every capability sits at the same school-grade level.
English Mastery and Mathematics Mastery are independently selectable online programmes for eligible learners aged 6 to 13. Families may choose one or both, subject to timetable and cohort availability.
Diagnostic placement before learning begins
After registration and before placement, the learner completes a subject-specific diagnostic. It is a low-pressure starting-point assessment, not a competitive entrance examination. The evidence helps the programme recommend a suitable age band and ability tier.
The three age bands are Elementary for ages 6 to 8, Intermediate for ages 9 to 11 and Advanced for ages 12 to 13. Within each band, Explorer establishes or repairs essential foundations, Navigator connects and applies skills with growing independence, and Pioneer works with greater complexity, analysis and transfer.
What learners build
English Mastery
English Mastery can develop reading, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, writing, speaking, analysis and purposeful communication.
Mathematics Mastery
Mathematics Mastery can develop number sense, operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, algebraic thinking, data, reasoning, problem-solving and real-world application.
AI-assisted personalised practice and adaptive progression help focus attention on the next relevant skill. Facilitators remain responsible for explanation, feedback, learning relationships and progression decisions.
Online learning alongside a physical school
The programme runs online and does not replace the learner’s face-to-face campus classes, school assessments or Zero Period support. It provides an additional structured pathway when the learner needs sustained reinforcement, deeper understanding or greater challenge.
The approved Mastery model runs for ten months, with two live 40-minute classes per week for each selected subject and planned cohorts of 24 to 26 learners. Participation may take place from home or through a school-scheduled arrangement, depending on the confirmed model for the learner’s programme.
Questions parents ask
Is Mastery the same as tuition?
No. It is a diagnostic-led skills pathway focused on connected understanding, targeted practice and evidence-based progression rather than homework completion or examination coaching.
Does the learner have to be struggling to join?
No. Mastery can reinforce foundations, deepen understanding or provide greater challenge for a learner who is ready to move further.
Can English and Mathematics be selected separately?
Yes. Each subject is independently selectable, subject to eligibility, timetable and cohort availability.
Does Mastery guarantee higher school grades?
No. It develops understanding, capability and learning confidence. School results depend on many factors and no particular outcome is guaranteed.
Will campus teachers decide the online level?
The online programme uses its own diagnostic and ongoing evidence. Relevant coordination with the campus team would follow the school’s approved academic process.
