Oli Ghosh

Oli Ghosh is an accomplished Art & Design Educator, Artist, Installation Artist, Printmaker, and Creative Mentor with over two decades of experience across art education, contemporary art, visual communication, and curation. She has been serving as the British Senior Secondary Art & Design Facilitator at 21K School since 2022, specialising in Cambridge IGCSE and AS & A Level Art & Design.

With extensive Cambridge teaching experience, Oli’s educational practice is grounded in inquiry, creative exploration, critical thinking, reflective learning, and self-expression. She integrates Habits of Mind, Approaches to Learning (ATL), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Bloom’s Taxonomy, and emerging AI technologies to nurture independent, innovative, and future-ready learners.

She holds an MFA in Graphics from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a BVA in Graphics from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, along with Cambridge professional development in Art & Design and assessment. Her earlier professional experience includes leadership roles in the contemporary art gallery sector and serving as Assistant Curator for the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. As a practising artist, her work has been exhibited at national and international platforms, bringing a rich, real-world artistic perspective to her teaching.

Oli believes that art is a universal language that nurtures imagination, empathy, curiosity, and meaningful self-expression. Through teaching, mentoring, and artistic practice, she is committed to empowering learners to discover their unique creative voices and approach art as a lifelong journey of exploration, expression, and discovery.

I teach Art because I believe every learner has a unique creative mind & voice waiting to be discovered. For me, art education is not simply about learning techniques or creating beautiful work—it is about learning to observe, question, experiment, think independently, and find meaning in the world around us. What continues to inspire me is seeing the moment a learner moves from “I can’t do this” to “Let me try.” That moment of curiosity, confidence, and discovery is what makes teaching an endlessly rewarding journey for me.
