Reeva Kalra

Reeva Kalra is an educator at heart with a journey rooted in the study and teaching of society, culture, and human experience. She currently serves as a Sociology Facilitator for IGCSE, AS & A Level at British Senior School, where she delivers engaging virtual lessons grounded in skill-based learning, global citizenship, and critical and reflective thinking, in keeping with the Cambridge approach to learner-centred education. On the academic front, Reeva holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, having secured 2nd position at Panjab University, Chandigarh, along with a Master's degree in Sociology and a PG Diploma in Human Rights and Duties. She has also cleared the UGC-NET in Sociology and is currently pursuing her PhD in Sociology at Panjab University. She has published research papers, contributed book chapters, and presented her papers at various national and international seminars and conferences. Through her work, Reeva continues to bring research and classroom practice together, creating inclusive learning spaces that help students engage meaningfully with the world around them — equipping them to step out of school confident, aware, and future-ready.

Teaching, for me, is about helping learners understand society, question the world around them, and develop the confidence to think independently. My journey as a Sociology educator and researcher is driven by the belief that meaningful learning goes beyond textbooks—it inspires curiosity, empathy, and a deeper understanding of human experiences. I teach to make learning relevant, inclusive, and impactful for every learner.
