My Story: Why I Chose Teaching

My journey towards teaching has been shaped by my belief that education has the power to change not just what a child knows, but also who they become.

My academic and professional journey has taken me through different fields, including education, human resources, Learning & Development, public speaking, and content creation. Interestingly, each experience brought me back to one thing I truly enjoy — working with learners and helping them grow.

I chose teaching because I love the energy and curiosity that children bring into a classroom. Every student thinks differently, asks different questions, and learns in their own unique way. For me, teaching is not about simply completing a syllabus; it is about creating moments where a student suddenly understands a concept, finds their voice, becomes confident enough to ask a question, or discovers something they are genuinely passionate about.

My experience in public speaking and Learning & Development has further strengthened my belief that communication and confidence are essential parts of education. I want my classroom to be a space where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas, making mistakes, thinking critically, and learning from one another.
