Early Education With Ramachandran

Ashok Ramachandran, an Australian resident of Indian descent, joined Schindler in 2006 and has worked there for almost ten years in various positions that we will discuss in the article’s second half. He decided to pursue a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering there, completing his coursework in 2006. In addition, Ashok Ramachandran is a trilingual person who speaks English, Hindi, and Tamil fluently.

Ashok Ramachandran has held various positions, functions, and designations at Schindler after completing his postgraduate studies in ME Industrial Engineering. He has contributed more than ten years to this organization and, particularly in India, has attracted the attention of young people interested in business and management. As a Quality Engineer, he began working for Schindler in Australia. After serving as the company’s quality engineer for almost one year, he received a promotion and was offered the position of quality manager.

After serving as the Quality Manager for almost a year, he was promoted to Regional General Manager Queensland and given overall charge of the Queensland Business. He held this position for about three years and six months. Because of his commitment to the business and the corporation, Ashok Ramachandran was named managing director of Schindler Vietnam in 2012.

After a fruitful tenure there, during which he managed to turn around the business in Vietnam, he was elevated to Managing Director of Schindler Malaysia in 2016. Later, in 2018, he was officially Appointed to Schindler India. He entered the list of the youngest CEOs in India (at the age of 38) after being named Schindler India and South Asia CEO. Despite that, his position or career as a CEO didn’t begin until he was 31, and he became Schindler Vietnam’s CEO.
