I am an English Facilitator with 10 years of teaching experience, with a passion for making language and literature meaningful, engaging, and relevant to learners. Over the years, I have worked with middle school learners, fostering a classroom environment where curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and confident expression are encouraged. I believe that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but about empowering learners to find their voice, explore different perspectives, and connect their learning to the world around them. I enjoy using creative and collaborative approaches, digital tools, and experiential activities to make learning purposeful and learner-centred. My journey as an educator continues to be shaped by the learners I teach, as I constantly reflect, learn, and evolve to make every learning experience more enriching.

I believe I became a teacher because I have always been fascinated by the power of words, the way a story can change a perspective, a question can spark curiosity, and a few encouraging words can build a learner’s confidence. Over the years, I have realised that some of the most rewarding moments in teaching are not when learners simply get the right answer, but when they begin to think differently, express themselves fearlessly, or discover something they genuinely enjoy. Every learner brings a unique story, and being able to guide them, learn alongside them, and watch them grow is what makes teaching meaningful to me. I teach because I want my learners to leave my class not just knowing more, but believing a little more in themselves.
