About Gagnita
I am an educator and English facilitator passionate about creating meaningful, engaging, and learner-centred learning experiences. I hold a BA, B.Ed., MA in English, M.Ed., UGC-NET qualification, and a PhD in Education. I enjoy exploring innovative teaching approaches that nurture creativity, critical thinking, communication, and a love for lifelong learning.
I am an educator and English facilitator who believes that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but about creating experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. My academic journey includes a BA, B.Ed., MA in English, M.Ed., UGC-NET qualification, and a PhD in Education, which has shaped my approach towards thoughtful, reflective, and research-informed teaching.
My teaching journey began at Panjab University, where I spent four years as a **Research Scholar, gaining valuable experience in teaching, academic research, and engaging with diverse perspectives in education. This phase strengthened my understanding of pedagogy and deepened my belief in the importance of connecting theory with meaningful classroom experiences.
I am now associated with 21K School, where I teach English at the secondary level and Mass Communication at the senior secondary level. My classroom practice focuses on making learning interactive, creative, and learner-centred with opportunities for learners to think critically, communicate confidently, collaborate, and connect concepts with the world around them.
I particularly enjoy experimenting with innovative pedagogies, creative analogies, experiential learning, and the Habits of Mind to make learning more purposeful and memorable. For me, every classroom is an opportunity to learn, grow, and inspire—and I continue to embrace teaching as a journey of lifelong learning, reflection, and discovery.
I teach to inspire curiosity, nurture creativity, and give every learner the confidence to find their own voice. I love seeing a concept come alive when learners make connections, ask questions, challenge ideas, or discover something for themselves.
What makes teaching truly meaningful to me is the opportunity to grow alongside my learners. Every classroom brings new perspectives, new questions, and new possibilities. It reminds me that learning is a lifelong journey, and as an educator, I am both a facilitator and a learner.
I teach because I want learning to be remembered not just for what was taught, but for how it made learners think, feel, question, and grow.
