About Malavika

Senior Primary Educator and Curriculum & Inquiry Lead with 12 years of international experience across IB PYP and British curricula, having worked in leading schools across Dubai and India. I specialise in driving improvements in literacy, student engagement, and teaching quality through concept-based inquiry, strategic curriculum design, and data-informed instruction.

Senior Primary Educator and Curriculum & Inquiry Lead with over a decade of international experience across the International Baccalaureate PYP and British curriculum, with teaching and leadership roles in leading international schools across Dubai and India. Known for driving measurable improvements in literacy, student engagement, and teaching quality through concept-based inquiry, strategic curriculum design, and data-informed instruction. Led the design and refinement of Units of Inquiry, strengthening alignment, assessment practices, and student agency across grade levels. Consistently improved learning outcomes by embedding structured literacy approaches, differentiated instruction, and reflective teaching cycles, while supporting collaborative planning and programme coherence. As English Coordinator, spearheaded whole-school literacy initiatives, mentored educators, and elevated instructional quality- contributing to strengthened inspection outcomes and formal recognition from KHDA for high-impact teaching and student engagement. Recognised for building teacher capacity, driving cross-functional collaboration, and aligning pedagogy with measurable school improvement goals. My experience also extends to founding and scaling an IELTS and communication training venture, and currently facilitating advanced reasoning and communication programmes across Kerala—further strengthening my expertise in critical thinking, language development, and learner engagement across both in-person and digital environments.

I teach because I realised early on that what a teacher imprints on a child’s mind and heart can stay with them long after they leave the classroom- even when they are 50 years old.

That realisation made me want to make that imprint a meaningful one.

I believe every child deserves a space that feels safe, nurturing and encouraging- a space where they feel seen, valued and free to explore who they are. A space that nurtures a love for learning and creativity, while helping children grow into well-rounded, compassionate adults with a thirst for knowledge, a heart that chooses to help, and the courage to question, reform and make a difference.

For me, teaching is not simply about what a child learns in a classroom. It is about who they become because of the experiences, encouragement and possibilities they encountered along the way.

Malavika’s Philosophy

"Clearly, we have a social duty towards this future man, this man who exists as a silhouette around the child, a duty towards this man of tomorrow. Perhaps a great future leader or a great genius is with us and his power will come from the power of the child he is today. This is the vision which we must have."
“The children are now working as if I did not exist.”,
"One test of the correctness of educational procedure is the happiness of the child."
Maria Montessori
