Karishma Mehra

I am an experienced Japanese and English language educator with a diverse teaching journey across India, Japan, and online learning environments. Over the years, I have worked with learners of different age groups, designing interactive lessons, personalized learning resources, and engaging activities that strengthen communication skills and cultural understanding. My experience includes teaching Japanese language and culture, English language instruction, curriculum design, assessment coordination, and virtual education. Having taught in Japan as well as in Indian schools and online platforms, I bring an international perspective to my classroom and focus on creating a supportive, learner-centered environment where students can build confidence and enjoy the process of learning a new language.

My journey as an educator has taken me across India, Japan, and virtual classrooms, and each experience has strengthened my belief that language learning is about much more than words and grammar—it is about connecting with people and understanding different cultures. Teaching Japanese and English gives me the opportunity to make those connections come alive for my students. I teach because I love seeing learners move from hesitation to confidence, ask questions with curiosity, and discover that learning a new language can open a whole new world to them. My aim is to create a classroom where every learner feels encouraged to participate, explore, and enjoy the journey of learning.
