Education for me has never been just a profession it has been a journey of building lives, shaping possibilities, and touching hearts. Over 30 years in education, I have had the privilege of teaching, leading, learning, and growing alongside generations of learners. From my early years as a Science educator to school leadership and now learner-centred facilitation, each experience has deepened my belief that every learner deserves to be seen, heard, encouraged, and inspired. I am passionate about creating learning experiences that go beyond textbooks and marks—experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, empathy, values, and purpose. I believe a true educator does not simply teach a subject; they ignite a spark, build self-belief, and help young people discover the person they have the potential to become.

I began my journey as a quiet and reserved young teacher, teaching Science and Chemistry. Those early years taught me something that has stayed with me ever since — sometimes, a teacher’s greatest impact is not in what they teach, but in the confidence they help a learner discover within themselves.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching, mentoring and guiding learners across different stages of their lives. I have seen hesitant learners find their voice, struggling learners discover their strengths, and young minds grow into confident individuals. These moments, big and small, have been the most rewarding part of my journey.

I teach because I believe every learner has a possibility waiting to be discovered. My role is to create a space where learners feel seen, heard, valued and encouraged to learn, question, explore and believe in themselves.

After more than three decades in education, my passion remains the same — to make a difference, one learner at a time.
