Nandini Ananthan

My journey in education began with a transition from engineering to teaching. After starting my career in the IT industry, I realised that my true passion lay in working with young learners and creating meaningful learning experiences. This led me to pursue a career in education, where I discovered a natural ability to connect with children, understand their perspectives, and design engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences that foster curiosity and confidence.

With over seven years of experience in education, I have had the opportunity to work closely with young learners, continuously exploring innovative approaches to make learning purposeful, joyful, and learner-centred. My journey has now evolved into an Academic Coordinator role, where I work towards supporting facilitators, strengthening academic practices, and creating enriching learning experiences for learners. I believe that effective education goes beyond academic achievement—it is about nurturing confident, curious, and independent learners who are equipped to grow and thrive.

What drew me to education was the joy of working with young children—their curiosity, their honesty, their endless questions, and the excitement they bring to even the simplest discoveries. I found that I could connect with them naturally and loved creating different ways to make learning engaging and meaningful.
