As a facilitator, I believe that learning is most meaningful when learners are encouraged to question, explore, express their ideas, and make connections with the world around them. My approach is learner-centred and focuses on creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every learner feels valued and motivated to participate. I aim to move beyond simply delivering content and instead facilitate experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, collaboration, and deeper thinking.

English and literature hold a special place in my teaching practice because they provide learners with opportunities to understand different perspectives, explore emotions and experiences, and develop their own voice. I enjoy using stories, poems, discussions, creative writing, role plays, inquiry-based activities, and digital tools to make learning interactive and relevant. I particularly value opportunities where learners can interpret texts, express their viewpoints, and apply their learning creatively.

I am also committed to identifying individual learner strengths and areas for growth. Through differentiated activities, formative assessment, feedback, and reflection, I strive to support learners at different levels while encouraging them to challenge themselves. I believe that every learner has unique potential, and one of my key responsibilities as a facilitator is to help them recognise that potential and develop the confidence to use it.
