What Makes an Exam Easy?

The type and quality of questions play a big role.

If the questions come from basic concepts, general mathematics, reasoning, and general knowledge, then that test is considered easy.

The level of competition is also important. Where the number of candidates is low, or the cut-off score is low, the exam seems relatively easy.

Additionally, if the exam pattern and selection process are simple – such as fewer steps (no written test, no interview)- then that also makes the exam easier.
