In-Person Events at 21K School: Sport, Art and Meet-Ups
Where and how your child meets classmates beyond the screen

Learning online does not mean growing up in isolation. Our online schooling model brings learners, families, and facilitators together in person through sport, creative showcase, shared celebrations, and community meet-ups.
Across the 2025–26 academic year, 21K School hosted 34 offline community events across multiple cities. These included regional Sports Days drawing 897 learners in India and 190 learners in Dubai, along with a Dubai community gathering that brought together over 300 parents. In creative fields, 21K learners earned 11 National Art Fest awards during the 2025–26 competition cycle.
These events complement daily online classes. They turn familiar voices from screen interactions into teammates, real-world friends, and connected families.

Sports days: Teams, races and cheering together
Age-appropriate races and team games in cities across India and Dubai
Sport is one of the simplest ways for children to feel part of a group. A Sports Day brings learners together to move, cheer, try, support one another and enjoy being on the same team. It is not only about winning a race. It is about participation, resilience, encouragement and the confidence to step forward.

Activities include age-group track races, fun fitness drills, movement challenges, and team games. These events also allow parents to observe their child’s social interactions and build connections with other local families in the 21K School community.

Learning garages
Carnivals and meet-ups that turn classmates into friends
Joyful city-level days for learners and families
Carnivals and celebration days are designed to be joyful, welcoming occasions where learners and families can relax, create memories and feel connected to the people they see online through the year. City carnivals, Friendship Day meet-ups, and informal weekend catch-ups give families a relaxed space to create memories together.
For a learner new to online schooling, meeting classmates face-to-face builds immediate connection. Familiar online handles become real friends, group assignments become smoother, and the broader school community becomes tangible. Parents also connect with peers who share similar educational priorities for their children.

Art festivals: 11 national art Fest Awards
A stage for learners who lead through creativity
Art experiences provide a platform for learners who express leadership through creative channels. Participation in national exhibitions, international art festivals, and showcase days lets children explore color, design, and performance.
Learn more about our digital creative showcases on the Online Events page.
Our events celebrate diverse forms of talent. Displaying artwork, presenting a design project, or performing for a supportive audience builds confidence that carries back into the virtual classroom.
Learning garages in four cities
Hands-on making and meeting in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and New Delhi
21K Learning Garages create additional opportunities for learners to meet, make, explore and learn through hands-on experiences in selected locations. They extend the school’s approach to learning: curiosity, practical engagement and human connection alongside the flexibility of online schooling.
As of 1 September 2026, we operate four Learning Garages in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and New Delhi, with plans to expand to 30 locations by March 2028.
Availability of Garage experiences differs by city, programme and calendar. Families receive details of relevant opportunities as they are planned.

Nature walks and monsoon treks outdoors
Learning outside, planned around age, venue and safety.
Outdoor events bring experiential learning into nature. Guided nature walks and monsoon treks invite learners to observe ecosystems, move active bodies, build environmental responsibility, and practice collaboration in real-world settings.
The precise format of every outdoor event depends on the learner age group, venue conditions, and safety protocols. Not every outdoor experience is offered in every city or across every grade level.

One community across cities and countries
Events turn a diverse online school into real friendships.
21K School brings together families representing 78 countries and 46 nationalities (as of 1 September 2026). In-person events held in cities such as Dubai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad transform this cultural diversity into real friendships.
Parent gatherings and informal interactions with facilitators give families room to exchange ideas, share advice, and build lasting support networks.

Where events run, and what if yours doesn’t
Selected cities for now, with full online community everywhere
In-person events are scheduled in selected cities based on local learner density, suitable venues, and operational safety. We do not offer every event in every city. Instead, we focus on delivering safe, well-organized gatherings where feasible.
If your city is not on the current event calendar, your child continues to participate through daily live classes, assemblies, virtual clubs, and online events. Families are also welcome to attend scheduled events in nearby host cities.
How we keep every event safe
Age guidance, supervision and consent, shared before you register.
Every event follows strict safety protocols, established adult-to-learner supervision ratios, and clear age eligibility guidelines. Experienced facilitators and event staff manage operations on-site.
Before registering, parents receive full details regarding:
Exact venue location, timing, and schedule
Supervision ratios and safety procedures
Required consent forms and medical disclosure requirements
What learners need to bring (e.g., footwear, water, kit)
Parent attendance guidance (whether parent presence is required or optional)
Some activities are structured for supervised learner groups, while others are designed as family gatherings. The event invitation contains all final operational details.
What our events cost
Some are included; others are paid separately, with terms shared first
Some community experiences may form part of the wider school calendar; others require separate registration or payment. Any applicable cost, eligibility criteria and cancellation terms are shared before families confirm participation. In-person events are planned as meaningful optional opportunities, not as a mandatory condition of a learner’s school experience.
Event pricing depends on venue, equipment, and event type:
Included Events
Select local community park meet-ups, city assemblies, and informal get-togethers are included at no extra charge.
Paid Events
Specialized activities—such as Sports Day venue bookings, structured treks, or festival entries—require separate ticket purchases per participant.
Optional Extras
Individual travel to and from the venue, optional meal packages, and non-enrolled sibling participation fees are outlined before you confirm registration.
Questions parents ask about in-person events
Are in-person events included in school fees?
Some community meet-ups and assemblies are included in tuition. Other larger events—such as Sports Days, outdoor treks, or festival venue bookings—require separate registration fees to cover third-party costs.
Can parents attend?
Parent attendance guidelines depend on the specific event format. Family carnivals and Sports Days encourage full parent participation, while select workshops or team treks operate under direct school facilitator supervision for enrolled learners.
Are events available in every city?
No. In-person events take place in selected cities based on local learner concentration and venue suitability. We publish upcoming host cities at the start of each event term.
How far in advance are events announced?
Confirmed event dates, schedules, and venue details are published through internal school channels 3 to 6 weeks in advance of the event date.
Can siblings join?
Sibling entry depends on venue capacity, safety arrangements, and the event target age group. Specific registration guidelines for siblings are detailed in each event announcement.
What if my city has no in-person events yet?
Your child engages daily through live online classes, virtual assemblies, peer projects, and interactive digital events. Families are always welcome to register for events hosted in a nearby city.
